BirdLife Wesvaal, in collaboration with Elgro River Lodge, cordially invites you to join us in the Birdlife Wesvaal Birding Festival 2025. The festival will occur from 21-23 March 2025 at Elgro River Lodge near Potchefstroom.
An exciting program has been put together, featuring renowned speakers, guided birdwatching outings along the Vaal River and the Vredefort Dome, and game drives.
The Lodge is located alongside the Vaal River, 25 km outside Potchefstroom and only 173 km from O.R. Tambo International Airport. This festival is an ideal getaway opportunity for bird clubs, members, and enthusiasts to observe some of the 253 bird species (SABAP2) in the area.
